Since 1996 the Maserati Club has held the Grand Prix Dinner prior to the conduct of the AGP in Melbourne and it is used by interstate and overseas visitors to catch up with the locals.
This year we have once again selected a near-city location and a familiar venue Lamaro’s Hotel, which is located in Cecil Street, South Melbourne, it’s close to the Albert Park circuit and in a location where it is easy to find a place to park if you come by car.
Lamaro’s is one of the best gastro pubs in Melbourne. It has created its reputation over a number of years for consistent fine dining and service, It is some time since we have visited this establishment for a function, it used to be a favourite haunt of Jim Reark and the Committee, who used to dine here after their monthly meetings, in those days we were looked after by Pam Lamaro herself.
