Mediterraneo Grand Final Lunch

The Grand Final Lunch has been a fixture on the club calendar for many years. With AFL football an institution in Melbourne, the Grand Final Lunch has similarly become an institution for companies and organisations of all shapes and sizes ... it is after all a good excuse to have a lunch! 
The club’s 2013 Grand Final Lunch will be held at Mediterraneo in Albert Park. Mediterraneo is an inviting, comfortable space brightened by colourful paintings and a friendly, professional staff. But foremost of all, it's a quality steak restaurant that deserves its recent award with devotion to fine meat and its appropriate cooking, a balanced menu and extensive wine list. Opened in 2002 by owner Michael Popovic the restaurant has a strong Southern European flavour, reflective of the owner’s Balkan background. Mediterraneo has the best charcoal grilled food to offer, from the finest pasture-fed aged steaks and fresh seafood varieties to flavoursome Mediterranean indulgences, all of which are cooked to perfection on
a custom-made mallee-root grill. We will look forward to seeing you at Bridport Street.
