Spring Drive to Sorrento

The club invites you to join us in a drive to from Baxter to Sorrento
Via Arthurs Seat, Flinders, Point Nepean Quarantine Station to lunch
at The Sorrento Hotel
The objective of the event is to provide
an enjoyable motoring experience for
all. Taking the roads less travelled, the
event offers a scenic drive from The
Baxter Tavern car park.
Please arrive 9:00 am as we will be
departing 9.30am
The first car will be away at 9:30, we will visit
Arthurs Seat, pass through Flinders and the Point Nepean Quarantine Station,
finishing with lunch at Hotel Sorrento. Entrants answer questions along the
way and there is a prize for the best photo taken on the day.
Crews will self-cater for morning tea, there is a coffee shop at our morning tea stop
The detailed navigation notes will be emailed to entrants prior to the event.
We would like to thank the Point Nepean Men’s Shed Association for allowing
us to park on the lawns in front of their shed. ‘The Hanger’ formerly home of
the Southern Peninsula Rescue Helicopter. Entrant’s cars will enjoy some of
the best views on the peninsula.
At Sorrento we will line our cars up on the Point Nepean Men's
Shed lawn overlooking Port Phillip Bay. We can leave the cars
there whilst we dine at the hotel.
The cost is $70 per head, includes the meal at Sorrento Hotel.
You will just need to pay for your beverage separately.
